Update, Faves, Etc!

Current mood: Painful

To explain my mood i have been having serious back ache i dont know what it is, or how it became this painful but it hurts so much like to the point i cant move but onto a 'funnier note (well i think its funny)
Basically my right (had to check) leg hates me. No jokes here. What has happened to this leg this week....First i cut my toe badly, then i cut my leg in not one but three places like very badly then i got this big horrible bruise which is like purpley greenish colour, THEN i dropped my straighteners on my leg and FINALLY i walked into this unit at my nans house and bruised my leg. LOL. Ive had bad luck this week so has my cousin, i broke my nans toilet (not from sitting on it) i broke the hand all thingage, my cousin broke my grandads quad like it almost set on fire and he lost his phone. (Ive always had bad luck but i guess the word hates me this week)

Update on life
My summer has gone really fast i had so much fun this summer, i went to london spent 5days straight with two of my best friends been out all the time. It was just a good summer. I start school not tomorrow but the next day and i am really looking forward to it (yes, i sound like a nerd) but at the same time im not looking forward to it because i only have nine months left although i im looking forward to finishing school im not because like i have my GCSE's, i have maths and english in November (mocks second week back at school) then in May i have Geography, RPL/KELF (which is like RE basically but a bit for boring, its about like how the world started and things like that) and textiles, i am lucky though because my science, business studies and ICT subjects are BTEC's and for people who don't know what they are they are basically 100% coursework so its not so bad.
My dad said and i quote ''Your an OAP about 50 years to early!'' and this is because you know even old people like start to forget alot (dont mean to offend here) and they have to take loads of pills so they have those little boxes with like S,M,T,W,T,F,S on them.. well i have one because i have to take these pills for about 7ish months for nothing that serious and i have been on them for about 3 months and have only taken about 2months worth because i forget to take them or i forget if i have taken them and i have to take them everyday so i got one of them little boxes! :)
This was VERY pointless but i thought i might as well do this
Thanks for reading ( i understand if you didnt make it to this point!)

Broken Headband = New Bracelet!

Hey lovely's,
today i had this headband, and well it broke as i put it in my hair. So i was thinking about it and i thought i could turn it into the bracelet this accessorize sells but itis a summery bracelet but its good DIY :)
Before....
Just was a broken headband which probly cost around £3 from places like ''Peacocks'', just when you think you are about to chuck it in the bin....
After....

This is what that same broken headband is turned into, And this is how you make one in less than a few minutes!

These are the tools used (I dont have a clue what the names of this thingys are! P.S you dont have to use these, they are just want i have but you can use normal scissors)
The first thing you will have to is just of the Elastic bit, for this i used the tool on the left!

Then i took these pieces and took the tool on the right and then carefully pull apart the pieces and put them on the ends of the headband then again use the tool on the right to shut the gap to make sure they dont fall off!
And then you are finished!
If you have any questions please message me
XoXo!

So recently i have been really wanting nice clear skin (like everybody right?) well i noticed that Johnson's range was on two for £4.00 so i decided to try it out, i didn't buy all of this in one go but i did buy everything but two things in one. So here's what i got;
  • dreamy skin body cream: not only does this smell AMAZING after the first use of this product by skin was soft as ever!
  • Moon care intensive balm: it smells great kind of like white chocolate, my lips have never been this soft
  • Dreamy skin facial moisturiser for normal & combination skin: also smells amazing
  • 3 in 1 make up removing lotion: it does even give you panda eyes!
  • 3 in 1 refreshing facial wash
  • 3 in 1 gentle exfoliating facial wash
  • 3 in 1 eye make up removal pads

Also i had the 24hour facial moisturiser and its very good. Overall all the products so far that i have used are very good and worth the money! 5 stars for this and i will also be buying the rest of the range's

MAC Shade Guide

This is just a quick post because its 10.30pm on Thursday and I'm so tired right now like I'm falling asleep (i went to the zoo with peoples was fun) anyway and i was just checking on the MAC website about getting a MSF because i don't have a foundation at the moment so i clicked on the MSF bit and it said shade guide, now i have been into MAC since about Feb and i never noticed this so I'm going to copy what it says for those of you who haven't since it either ( i might of just being blonde about this but who knows!)

GUIDE TO M·A·C SHADE NAMES FOR FOUNDATION, CONCEALER, AND POWDER

M·A·C shade designations for Foundations, Concealer, and Powder are a combination of a letter and a number. The letter represents the colour family of the product. The number denotes the lightness or darkness. The higher the number, the deeper the colour. The first step in selecting your shade is to simply look at your skin, without makeup, in daylight. Decide which of the following descriptions best represents your skin colour: If your skin looks more Golden Beige, you match with Neutral Cool or NC shades. If your skin looks more Pink Beige, you match with Neutral Warm or NW shades. Most skin tones will fall into these two classifications. However, if you are still not certain which classification is right for you, consider the undertones in your skin. To determine your undertone, take a look at the underside of your forearm: If your veins look more blue, then you most likely have pinkish undertones. If your veins look more green, then you have more yellow or golden undertones. If you have a significant undertone to your skin, you may choose to play it up or play it down by trying a shade that includes or excludes your undertones: If your skin looks more Yellow-Golden Olive, you will find those undertones in the Cool or C shades. If your skin looks more Beige, you will match with the Neutral or N shades. If your skin looks more Pink, you will find those pink undertones in the Warm or W shades. Please bear in mind, finding the "right" colour is something very subjective. Most people will wear a variety of different shades throughout the year because the colour of skin changes according to the lighting, the seasons, and physical well being. We encourage you to visit a store near you.

PanOxyl Aquagel

So my skin had been not like ''OMG, im not leaving the house'' bad but like bad enough that you couldn't ever hind it with concealer, so i went to the doctor and he then said that i have mild acne and gave me PanOxyl Aquagel 2.5 (which is the mildest one!) i had been using this for about a month and a have and im going to share my opinion on it,

This is what it says on the tube (Front)... PanOxyl aquagel 2.5, Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% in an aqueous gel. For treatment of ance 40g.

Directions for use: This gel should be carefully applied once daily to the areas affected by acne. Washing with soap and water prior to the efficacy of the preparation.

Caution: Aviod contact with the mouth, the eyes and other mucous membranes. Care should be taken when applying the product to the neck and other senstive areas. Patients with a known sensitivity to Benzoyl Peroxide should not use this product.
The product may bleach dyed fabrics. < And let me tell you have of my t shirts now have pink bits all over it THUMBS DOWN!

The first two weeks of using this my skin went completey cleared up but sadly it made my face very dry which happens when ever you use too much of this. What the benzoyl Peroxide does is drys out the problem areas so they dont come back.

If you go to the doctor you will get this product for free on the NHS but you can buy this from here.

Other peoples reviews on this:
''Although I don't pay for Panoxyl Aquagel as I am precribed it free on the NHS, it does work a treat! I have been on it for three days now and my skin has completely dried out and hurts but this is normal at the start as it does say this in the product warning notice. I am surprised that it has made such a big difference in three days of use. I will definitely stay on this product until my skin is clear. Unfortunately for me, I have to apply it to a large surface area so the individual 40g tubes don't last very long, I've got through one tube in three days - using it twice a day, everyday for better effect.''
''I treated my acne with Panoxyl. The face already shows a lot of recovery and the skin looks much healthier now.''
Both from the Chemist directs website.

Overall this product does work very well, if you use this product use a mostieriser after the product have dryed on your skin to keep it dont dry out your skin as much.

Product i regret buying

I regret buying the Collection 2000 nail varnish.. (the new purple one) because every time i paint it on my nails it doesn't chip, it peels off in full and it really annoys me because i love the colour of this nail varnish so every time it does it, i still want to give it a go because of the gorgeous colour.

Twice i have now used this polish and both times within a few hours it peels off. Next I'm going to buy the O.P.I one because i know it wont peel off.

Up & Coming Eye Make Up

So i was flicking through the pages of 'In Style' magazine (click here for their website), and in the Beauty section (Pages 156 - 161 of the September Issue) has new eye make up styles that are coming into this season so for those of you who haven't yet brought this magazine (P.S you get 2 FREE Body Stop eye liners with this issue *they are pretty good*) So here is my fave of the pages (just a little preview from the magazine! =] )

Eyes Wide Open

''Break free from your do-it-in-your-sleep eyeshadow rut:even the ubiquitous smoky eye is getting a shake up.''

Take shadow and kohl to your lower lashes giving your eyes some edgier feeling, by taking your kohl and smudging it along your lower lashes, you can then leave your lids plan, it would great or you can add a pale metallic colour to them, but you need to remember to only use a pale colour on your upper lids so the emphasis is on the lower lashes.
This eye make-up from the below picture is very ''Run way''. All you need to do it change the colour of the upper lid shadow with a pale metallic or leave alone.

Sonisphere Festival...

One word = AMAZING!

Basically i found out on thursday night that my dad had won 2 weekend camping tickets for Sonisphere Festival in the UK... so i HAD to go :) But sadly .. i was busy on saturday and sunday so we couldnt go and see linkin park but we got to see metallica on sunday night! They were FRIGGING AMAZING. 85,000 people were singing along to every one of their songs. It was a great experience!

They (Metallica) sound amazing live, exactly the same as on CD's. It was James's birthday on Saturday and his childern came on at the end and pie'd him and sprayed him with silly string it was very funny, then everyone sang him 'Happy Birthday'.

They played about a two hour set, but they started about 15 minutes late but it didnt matter! they were great!
